Penrite Pro Series EGR & CAT Clean +
Penrite EGR & CAT CLEAN+ is a new generation, low volatility, professional automotive cleaning product that effectively cleans and prevents build-up of deposits that block emission control devices such as catalytic converters and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems. It contains non-flammable ingredients that will pass through to the exhaust cycle and clean these components.
APPLICATION
EGR & CAT CLEAN+ is designed for use in all 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder, multi cam, multi-valve including VVT, naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines. It can be used in high performance and standard engines as well as in competition and normal on/off road use. It is not suitable for use in 2 Stroke engines.
EGR & CAT CLEAN+ cleans deposits from intake valves, fuel injectors and combustion chambers for easier starts, faster acceleration, better airflow and increased efficiency. It cleans and prevents harmful deposits forming in catalytic converters, cleans EGR passageways with regular use and also cleans oxygen sensors for smoother idling and running.
HOW TO USE
USE ONLY AS DIRECTED ON VEHICLES IN SOUND MECHANICAL CONDITION
NORMAL FUEL ADDITIVE USE

For routine and preventative maintenance, add EGR & CAT CLEAN+ (ECC+) directly to the fuel at a dosage rate of approximately 2-3%. Run the engine to normal operating temperatureand then for a further 10 minutes to clean the internals of the fuel pump, the fuel injectors or carburettor, the spark plugs where fitted, and the top piston rings. It will also remove any condensed water from these parts of the system. Due to the low flammability of ECC+, do not add to the fuel tank with lower than 15 Litres of fuel and do not add directly into fuel filter.

The can is a one-dose system. Empty the entire can into approximately 20-25 litres of fuel to enable it to remain concentrated as it goes through the cycle. Normally one treatment is sufficient to clean the system.

Run the engine at approx. 2000 to 3000 RPM and open the tap or commence spraying at short intervals to draw the product into the areas where it will start to work and give the above benefits. The engine could stall – this is because ECC+ is not a fuel. If the engine speed drops sharply i.e. below 700 RPM, close the tap or stop the spray and reduce the application speed or increase the interval between applications. This signifies that the product is starting to do its job.

Leave the ECC+ in the system and remove the can of ECC+ and reconnect the vacuum pipe.

Turn the engine over until it starts – this may take several minutes as the ECC+ is replaced by fuel from the fuel tank. The unburned ECC+ will pass the O2 sensor and clean it. It will also clean the exhaust gas recirculation valve, catalytic converter and particulate filter.

Procedures 2-4 may be repeated to ensure sufficient product is drawn into the system to treat all the components.

EGR & CAT CLEAN+ is suitable for use in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles and can be used with vehicles running on Petrol/LPG, Diesel and E10. Suitable for use in Hybridvehicles.
